HOW IT WORKS

• Each Illustrator and writer will create two pieces of work as follows. A piece of writing and an illustration have been commissioned, which you will be invited to respond to alongside your own experiences of the pub. You will then be asked to make a second image or piece of writing in response to another participant’s work. Each piece of writing or illustration will be approx 1 to 2 sides of A5

• Contributions will be brought together in a limited edition zine- each participant will get an equal share of the edition. There will also be a one-night launch and exhibition at The Grosvenor towards the end of July.

DATES

• Deadline for application 26th March
  
• The first piece of writing or illustration: 15th April - 24th May
• The second piece of writing or illustration: 1st June - 5th July.

Megan Dowsett, Alison Drewitt and Naomi Sloman met while studying at Camberwell and have a shared interest in illustration and the narratives found in places and locations. Having worked together on an informal residency at The Grosvenor, they are now working together on a more collaborative project, which brings together other illustrators and writers.
